Playmore Pools
Very pleased!

When we decided to get a pool, we had no idea who to use. We decided to get 4 quotes and let them compete for our business. The first company that came out was Playmore Pools. David, the sales rep, was polite and knowledgeable. He looked at our backyard, answered our questions and took measurements. David never pressured us. He explained how pools get built, talked about the different companies in the metroplex and gave a list of questions to ask competitors. A couple of days later, David brought over a presentation of what the pool would look like. It looked great, but we waited to get the other bids. Of the three other bids, one was $16,000 more than everyone else, one of the companies (we found out by accident) had been sued for poor workmanship, and one company was exactly the same price but in order to get details about the pool build you had to call an 800 number. We decided to go with Playmore Pools.

After the build started we received updates on a regular basis. Barry Twitchell, the owner of Playmore, told us what to expect and when to expect it. While we had never built a pool, we had heard horror stories about pool builders. Our biggest concern was that the build would start and then nothing would happen. Or that we would have a problem and not know who to call (many of the larger pool companies only use sub contractors). To our surprise, we didn't have those problems. Barry was always an email or phone call away. Towards the end of the build, Barry shocked us by saying he was fixing a small crack on part of the deck (we hadn't even noticed it!). His attention to detail has been phenomenal! He is also the only pool builder I found that has a "pool school". I can honestly say that we didn't have a single problem with Playmore Pools. They were competitively priced, straight forward and a pleasure to deal with. Now we have an amazing pool that we love. We also have an amazing pool company that is still there for us if we have questions.
