I am not sure of the exact date. I can locate it. I purchased the MagicJack at Sears. It worked for about 2 to 3 months. The day before Thanksgiving it quit working. I could receive voice mail messages and that is all. I spent over 10 hours over the day before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day talking to service. They made it even worse to the point that I could not even get voice mail. They did finally get it back to the point that I could get voice mail. I think I may have been speaking to India, as English was not their first language. I complained, and finally got the address of the company. I wrote to them, and explained the problem. I told them that I thought the device was defective. They never responded.
