I contacted the company First Class Pest Solutions on 22nd August when I noticed the first unauthorized payment had been taken from my account for $79 on 11th August. I spoke to a lady called Ashley, and told her that I had cancelled my agreement with the company for their services. She said that she wasn’t aware of that. I asked her how I could be charged for a service that had firstly been cancelled and secondly had not even been carried out, no documentation was even left to prove that they had been there, previously when I had used them, they would call prior to coming, arrange a mutually convenient time and then I would sign once the service had been completed, none of this had taken place. Ashley admitted to me that documentation should have been left to prove that they had come and couldn’t explain why it hadn’t. I asked to speak to the manager called Joe who was ‘EXTREMELY’ offensive and basically threatened to come to my house and ‘fxxx’ me if I called them back, he then put the phone down on me. I called back and spoke to a lady called Grace who asked me not to call them again. I notified the police due to the verbal abuse and they suggested that I contact the ‘Better Business Bureau’, which I did.
To my horror, I noticed that the same day that I made the complaint to them (22nd August), they retaliated by taking another payment for $79 from my card. This only highlighted how unethical this company is. Ironically their services are quarterly, how can they justify taking out 2 payments for a quarterly service in the space of 2 weeks.
After further investigation into this company, I see that they have a reputation for this behavior.
