I paid the $49.95 with my debit card and wasn't able to get redirected to the exclusive member log-in page, yet when I checked my checking account, $49.95 was on hold or pending. I checked with my bank, got transferred to a debit card adviser, she told me the funds to be debited couldn't be stopped, but that by putting a block on my card I could then try to get my money back later on, possible but not probable. I then emailed HomeCashAccess twice, about thirty minutes in between them, telling them how I thought I had been scammed but really wanted to believe they were a legit business, especially with all the reputable companies they had backing them (Fox News, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, USA Today). Nothing looked too suspicious, and it was believable enough. It was only after that happened that I found out there were similar incidents with that company, which led me to put my two cents in.
