We purchased a new 2011 Open Range RV 5th wheel 35foot long
The RV has been one huge lemon that has prevented the wife and myself from traveling any distance due to the many/many on going defects. Body/frame seperation twice, Electrical panel shorted out, Twice. Ref has been recalled, Three times. Landing lag failed Twice. We traveled down to California just after taking delevery and had our first safety problem. The Body was seperating from the frame. We took it to an authorized OR Dealer in Manifee, Cal. They took one FAST LOOK at the seperation issue and told us they would not fix it. Take it back to the dealer you bought it from in Oregon. I'am a Vietnam Vet and retired two years ago with plans to travel with the wife and enjoy retired life. Sad to say Open Range WILL NOT WORK WITH US. They say it is under warrenty and they are working with the dealer to address the problems. Great! We have work orders & Photos to show how many/many times this LEMON has gone back to dealer. Help, Can anyone please give us some ways we can deal with Open Range? We contacted three lemon law Attornys and they would not accept our case saying it is not strong enough!!...
