I received a similar txt msg on my mobile. I responded with the verification code and my email address to find out a little more about it. Upon receiving an email (which mind you appeared quite convincing) there was an in depth story about how GC was helping families after the recession and doin their best to give back blah blah blah. This story went on for quite a while and made me think..."wow this could actually be real" so I was maive and filled out the requested information, name, age contact number etc.
I then received an email stating that I need to send the attached document to Halifax bank plc for funds remmittance.

Hmmm stupid me, "halifax plc then wanted me to scan a copy of my drivers lisence and passport to them for conformation of my identity...
This I did not. Im really quite angry at myself for getting sucked in, please if anyone else receives any sms or emails similar to this... Delete straight away.
