Ripoff Bullies Companies Into Paying Large Amounts of Money for Wrongful Practice Chesapeak Beach

This "Company" called us awhile ago and asked me to verify our business information; name, city, etc.
They called again asking to verify information and ask if they could send us some informaiton on their product to which I replied "yes".

A few months later they contacted us saying that we owe them $414.00 for their CD-Rom of Business Information.
After we explained to them that we ever got a package like this and that we did not authorize this transaction. They said that they recorded their telephone call with me and that I did do all those things.

When my boss went to listen to it, she said I was in fact only verifying information and nothing else. They said they had the other conversationon tape where i authorized payment but when my boss told them to call bak with the tape, they ever did.

It has been a year now and they are still harrassing us about this invoice. We have explained many times that I did not authorize payment of this ficticious product, but even if I did (which I did not) I do not have the authority to, since I am only a secretary and not a manager.

This "company" is relentless and ridiculous. After month of telling them that we are not paying, then some woman call us and tell us to write a letter and exlain why we were not paying and that would be the end of it.

But that was the farthest thing from the truth. She wrote us back explaining why we hd to pay for a product we don't have ad never wanted. They are scammers and everyone should be aware of teir harrassment.
