Super ripoff

I received a phone call in or about 12/15/03. I was told that I would get 2 credits cards with a $2,000 credits limit on each card. One would be a VISA card the other a MASTER card. They took $299.00 out of my account and I was talking to a lady called Michell Edwards.

I called back to see if this was a rip off they made my contact number and all information. What I received 8 weeks later was a booklet with discounts in it NO CREDIT CARDS. Also the number is no longer in use. Why can't the phone company find the person that lease the phone. I have the trace id from my account why can't they find the person from that information?

The sad part of this is I made funeral to go to and I planned on the credit cards to buy a ticket. To say good bye to my aunt. If there anything I can do to get my money back please let me know.
