Why won't you fill my prescriptions?

The last straw for me was when I went there today. The technician stared at my prescription for several minutes and finally said, "I need to contact your doctor for authorization." I was very upset because it's a Saturday, and this technician KNOWS ME and has (grudgingly) filled the same 3 prescriptions for years! The prescription was complete with my Doctor's DEA number and NPI number. I went straight to a Rite Aid I've never been to before and all 3 prescriptions were filled within minutes. I feel like less of a person every time I go there.
