I was answering an ad for something at $39.95 online, I put it in my shopping cart. They wanted my credit card number and when I put it in, the site immediately changed to another purchase "in addition to..." for $47.00. I had never authorized the charge for the first item (finished checking out), and I had never entered a shipping address, so I tried to cancel the order but was not able to do anything, so I got off the site. Then on my bank statement there were two charges for the two amounts above. Their 800 number did not answer today, but I will try on Tuesday after Labor Day.
