Their electrician came to fix the bathroom outlet. He charged me $149.00 to diagnose the problem. He opened the outlet in the bathroom and then wandered around my house forever with a beeping wand, starting as far away from the bad outlet as possible. He opened NO other outlets, and moved NO furniture. His outcome: run a new electrical service into my house for that one bathroom outlet!

I know he could have done it right because the next day Midway Services did it. Their technician started at the bad switch. Then opened the next one behind the bureau, then the next behind my bed, the the next behind the armoire which is where he found the problem - a very badly wired outlet. Which he fixed - problem over.

I believe Allstar should refund my diagnostic fee because the problem was NOT diagnosed! They would have left me with an outlet that could have burned my house down.

I contacted them, but they wold not issue a refund.
