We were contacted by a potential overseas customer. They wanted to purchase our products. They wanted to pay for the products on a credit card, and have us charge the same credit card for the freight cost which we were to wire directly to the freight company in the UK. We were suspicious and contacted the credit card company who said that the card was legitimate, matched the billing address, and was not fraudulent. We charged the credit card, waiting for the funds to clear into our account, and then wired the funds to the freight company in the UK. We later received a chargeback from the credit card company for the amount that we charged to the credit card saying that it was a fraudulent transaction and had to return the funds to the credit card company that we had already wired to the freight company in the UK.
