I was checking my bank account so I can pay off some bills and rent and came across this charge by a company named Funding Assurance. I called their number that was listed next to the charge on my card and got a hold of a few reps. It took me three tries to be not be transferred around to a supposed sales agent to sale me some "protection". The final call to an agent named "John" resulted in a confirmation number and stated that it will take 7-10 business days until i get to see that money back to my account. I did tell him that the charge to my account was without my consent and expressed to the agent before him that I will have this activity reported, eventually she ended up hanging up on me and finally got a hold of John the third try to get someone to get me some answers. If i don't get my money back i might just have to get another account with my bank so be able to rectify the issue. I never want to speak to those people ever again. I expressed to John that I dont have the time and patience to deal with crooks like them and I will take it upon myself to hassle them anytime I get until I have a resolution to this ridiculous action.
