Ripoff Scamming Young People

An ad appeared in the Classified section of our local paper yesterday. The ad was titled "Best Job Ever" The text of the ad was as follows: "National company NOW HIRING 18-25 guys or gals to travel U.S. With a fun company. MTV Road Rules type atmosphere. Paid training. If you can start today, ask for Shane at..."

Well, my 18 year old daughter, who has little world experience and is eager to be out on her own, jumped on it. I got back to my office this afternoon and found a voice mail from her saying that she had gotten a job with a company just like MTV Road Rules and was moving out to go on the road with them. She had already packed her bags and left home before I got the message.

I raced home and found that she had left a note with the name of the company she would be working for and a phone number. She said she will be getting $20 per day for 8 hours of work, plus commissions. She is now somewhere in Sacramento, CA and then will be sent to Georgia.

I looked up the company on the web and found this site.

Now I am very worried and have no way to contact my daughter.
