Received a phone call from a man (thought was a good friend of mine) had a genuine cold or sickness enough to mask his accent.
Said Hey! Buddy glad to catch you at home... It, s so (muffled and cold sounding voice) I said who is this? He replied. You don't know? I listnened and said My friends name. F. Is that you... He goes yes... And then he says he went to a wedding in stoney creek canada and was driving a rental car and somebody hit the car and because of his cold medication he was arrested. And He then said his time was up on the phone. But his lawyer would call me right back. The phone rang and this Robert Pierce gets on and says he's the lawyer going to get Fr. Out of jail, but he needs money for bail. I like an ususpecting good guy to the rescue goes and wires money to Canada to a so called court employee named Patrice Boudry. Needless to say I am sure I lost this one...
