Well me and my family were looking for rent to own homes and I came across there website online so I got there number and called the guy I spoke with informed me that they had listed of homes all over the world and that they could help us get into a home. Next thing I know is he is telling me that they dont do credit checks and there will be no down payment for us to get into a home which I thought was great since we do have some credit issuse and didnt have a lot of money to put down on a place. Than he tells me that it would a $199.00 fee up front to make sure that the title and deeds on the home were free and clear of judgements and liens by other companys, banks or courts. Still unsure of this whole thing I gave him my credit card number for the payment he then informed me that we should be in a home in a week or two and he gave me a conformation number and password to access there site so we could start looking for homes. So I started looking for homes after driving to about 10 different home we came to find out that some of these home people still lived in and had no clue about that there homes was on this website the ones that were not lived in was owned by banks or private owner and none of them were rent to own. So I than called AmericanStandardOnline and told them that I still hadnt found a home and that alot of the homes were owned by other people they informed me that I should just wait a little while and to not contact any of the home owners myself that I should print off a letter from there website and mail it to the homes after doing that me and my family still havent found a home and amercianstandardonline can not tell us why or even give us our money back they said we have to wait 90th days before we could get our money back also every time I ask to speak to a manager or someone higher than a customer serivce rep I get hung up on. We signed up with them back in July hear it is the end of August and me and my family still havent found a home and they wont tell or cant tell us anything more to do but just wait. I want people to be Warned about this company they will not get you into a home all they will do is take your money and tell you to just wait it out.
