Termination of Contract Without Request

I had a contract with the Israeli Phone company 012 smile for cheap calls from Israel to England.in May, I called them to inquire if they had a better deal to offer me, since I heard that a different company had a better offer. I informed 012 about the offer this other company was offering and asked them if they could match it. Eventually they told me that they could not.

In July when I called 012 about a different matter, they told me that I do not have a contract with them. They explained that I had canceled my contract because I had a better offer from another company. I told them that was not the case, but my complaints fell on deaf ears. I asked them for a recording of the conversation in which I had supposedly canceled, only to be told that they do not give that information out and they will not listen again to the recording to see if I did or didn't cancel. I tried speaking to managers but to no avail.

As a result I have had to pay a bill of 2210 shekel for the month of June, because the price of using 012 without a contract is over 2 shekel a minute. This is instead of 9 agurot a minute which i should have been charged which would have come to about 100 shekel! That works out to be over 20 times the amount I should have paid!
