On Thursday evening at about 6 P.M., a young lady about the age of 20 by the name of Frances Fernandez approached me and asked to use my phone to call someone. I did not know her name at that time and had never met her before that day.

I offered to dial the number for her, instead of handing the phone to her. She called a man she knew and asked him if she could stay the night at his house because she had missed the Metro train in Miami and that she had nowhere to go for the night. The friend of hers told her she could not stay with him for the night because he had other plans and was not expecting her. So, me being a youth minister, I felt sorry for her because it was raining really hard and I did not want her to have to stay in the streets all night in the rain; so I offered to let her stay at my house for the night
and told her she could get up in the morning and catch the TriRail train to transfer to the Metro train in Miami.
