In 1972 my father approached the International Union of Operating Engineers, he was a long time member. To get me into the union they demanded and received 2500 cash paid to the delegate. This did not include union dues and fees etc.

My cousin Frankie Santora paid the same amount and we were both let in.

My friend Thomas Winston who worked for DeLea was sent to training school and still was denied. His color was black.

Tis has been going on forever. If you do not know someone you will never get in. If you know some one you will still pay. Where does this money go, it is it reported to the IRS???
