I purchased a Weed Eater Riding Mower through the internet from WalMart mid-April. I obtained the mower late April. On June 29, I had used the mower twice. On that day when I went to use the mower, it had a flat tire on the left rear side. I took it to the WalMart, talked to Betty who noticed that it was obvious the mower had not been used much because the tire still had "dimples" in it. I was given a number to call but it was for the Weed Eater. They wanted a credit card number to send me another tire. I refused.
Further, I had a mechanic look at the tire to see what was need; he inspected the other tires and found that the other tires were also rotten. The mechanic also found that the oil continued to spit black smoke even though the mechanic changed the oil. I tried to get this matter taken care of through the local WM but was unsuccessful. I then contacted the President and CEO, Mike Duke, but have heard nothing from anyone. I feel they have given me the run around so the 90 day return policy will not be honored. At this point, I want WM to return the $747.44 so I can purchase a mower elsewhere. I am 70 years young and love working in my yard. Please help me gain satisfaction from WM.
