The company claims that for $3800 you can appear on the cover of a book and "co-author" with a famous person like Dr. Stephen Covey. The company boldly makes representations regarding the legal use of Dr. Covey's name and likeness as a major inducement. Thus, I paid the money. My photo was placed on the cover of the book and I received copies of the book for my use. HOWEVER, TO MY SHOCK AND HORROR, I received legal notice from the law firm representing Dr. Stephen Covey (Ray Quinney & Nebeker Attorneys At Law based in Utah). The following is a direct quote from their letter:
"The Innovators Group d/b/a Insight Publishing Company has no right to use Dr. Covey's name and likeness.insight Publishing was and is without any legal authority to allow the use of Dr. Covey's name and likeness."
The Innovators Group d/b/a Insight Publishing knowingly deceive customers. Their practice is not only unethical, it is downright illegal!!! Please warn people and save them from the grief and monetary loss I experienced.
