Ants ants and more ants

I rented a pod in CT and had it delivered to FL. When it was delivered to me in CT both my husband and I checked the inside to make sure it was in good condition. We kept the pod for around 8 days, they it went to Hartford, CT and arrived in Florida on 12/15. It was delivered to my new home on the 16th. When we opened the door we saw thousands of ANTS. We were shocked and so upset. We used our own CLEAN blankets, bedspreads and comforters to cover our furniture. They were all over the pod. The were on the boxes that we packed and i was so concerned that we would be bringing them to our new home. We had to sweep off all of the boxes. My items that were on the pod were in no way infested with ants before the move. We had an exterminator come and look and he thinks that there were nests in the pod when it was delivered to us. I call pod 2 days after the delivery in FL and told them of the situation and first was told that before putting items into the pod, they suggest fumigating the pod. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, I SHOULD DO THAT AFTER PAYING WHAT I DID TO RENT THIS POD! I told them that I expected to be compensated for this incident, after all this move from pods cost me $2200, not $50. Well let me just say that since I called I have had to call back 4 times and all I get is a run around. Today I was told oh well, we will now send your complaint to Hartford, CT because that is where the pod was housed the longest. I am so fustrated and annoyed. The sad part is I have more things in CT that need to be moved down to Florida. Now what should I do? Mimi9340@gmail.com
