PODS - Horrible Service and Unethical Business Standards - PODS STORAGE &MOVING

Don't used pods!!! I was extremely disappointed by the quality of service by this company. I had a professional company pack the POD, so we started out with everything organized and neatly packed. Well, when I had the unit delivered it was a disaster! I had many broken items, chipped furniture, the POD was filled with all different kinds of ants (which I am still trying to get rid of), everything was dirty, and worst of all water got in the unit and ruined some of my hardwood furniture that was very special to me. I called them, they never answered. I emailed them, they never responded. They contacted me plenty of times when they wanted my business. Finally, I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They finally responded. Even though I paid dearly for insurance, they said that none of these items were covered. They couldn't explain how all these things happened during the three weeks they had my goods and wouldn't take responsibility. Why not??? I left these items in good faith, they contract out to companies to store these items, so shouldn't they ultimately be responsible for what happens to these items? What a waste%u2026I have ants, ruined furniture, and am very disappointed in a system that seems to have failed the little person.
