Miscellaneous

A "credit card company" has been calling our business phone and our home phone for 4-6 months offering to lower our credit cards interest rates. Today I finally pursued it a bit; I was hoping to get them to put us on the NO CALL LIST. When I hit #1 to switch to an agent a fellow answered and asked: "if I had pressed #9 to lower my interest rate today." I said that I had pressed #1; & immediately he hung up and no one else came on the line...

The phone number was a cell phone: (Personal Info Removed) [ per my caller ID]. This is always the same number of phone used to originate the calls to our home & business phone.

Hopefully, you can get to the bottom of this before anyone (or anymore) people get ripped-off!

Thanks,

Tom Peters
