Auto Dialer, recorded announcement to Lower my Credit Card Intrest Rate Rate Reduction Center FLORIDA

They have been calling and calling people. I work for an Answering service, and always just hang up on them. Now comes on to my personal home phone number, I pressed nine to speak with an operator. Knowing that they hang up if you mention the do not call list, I played along.

The Lady told me they are the credit card company. All of them!!! Just look on the back of your card and their is our name.US Banking Association, Yeah, thats us. OK, then, what do you want. We want to lower your intrest rate on you credit card debt, your credit card company wants to keep you as a good customer, so were offering this to the valued customers.

Oh, really, and what is this going to cost me. Not a penny she replied. We can lower your intrest to 6.99 percent. Wow. And again, whats it going to cost me, Nothing she says, we are your credit card company, basically making nice??? Well I am still playing along here and gave her my information to verify, then she transfers me to another agent to explain what its all about,

This agent tells me they are going to save me 200. Per month, and cut my payment in half by getting my intrest rate down to 6.99, and started speaking very quickly. I am wait, hold up a minute, what did you just say? She said it again, very quickly, I guess hoping I would not catch on. I stopped her again and repeated to her what I thought she said, YOUR GOING TO CHARGE ME 695.00 ON MY CREDIT CARD RIGHT NOW??? To which she said yes, 695.00 is a small fee in order to lower your rate, don' t you think?

Oh, hell no! You best loose my information right now, and i am filing a complaint with not only the do not call list but also the ftc consumer complaint division. You have committed fraud by representing yourself as a us banking association
