Calls were constant at home - to the estate of... I refused to answer calls they started 3 days after my husbands death.

Now I am getting calls at work and the call, which was a voice mail-I have saved - states Valerie from Ascention Point needs to speak with me immediately - they are working on an insurance claim for my husband and haven't been able to reach me at home. That is an out and out lie, they are not an insurance company working on as life insurance claim (which they repeated at least 3 times in the message). They are a collection agency trying to collect from the dead. The estate was not required to file probate as my husband had no individual assets. Everything we had was joint left via will to me—any monies left in his personal acct did not cover the funeral and taxes due. So there is nothing and the debts, all unsecured credit cards, do not total more than 3K.
