Dating Site Contact Asked for Money, I Sent $1500

This guy found me on Facebook after I signed onto a dating site. We talked a while and built a relationship, and I really believed him. We had plans, and then suddenly he had business in Lagos, Africa to take care of. After he was there for a while he began asking me for money. I knew in my heart it was wrong, but I ended up sending him $1500 altogether. I cannot believe I allowed Satan that much room.

But it happened twice that I fell into their grips. This other guy swore he was not like that and he just needed help to get back home after visiting his mom, who fell ill, and to pay some doctor bills. I knew in my heart he was lying, but I didn't want to believe it. I am so ashamed of what I have done. He got $500. I just broke it off with him because he continues to ask me for money, and it all just needs to stop.
