Planet Engine rebuilding
Horrible Service

My father needed a new engine for his 95 Cadillac so he wanted someone who would do a good job with a fair price. He was referred to Planet Engines through AAA so of course he thought everything would be okay. Well that was an understatement my dad had to give the tow truck drive cash for picking up the car which was aranged by the manager / owner Sammy, then he was told that his car was ready so he went to pay the difference but the car was not ready! Mean while he had to rent a car to get around but eaverytime after that when he called that when he talked to the owner / mananger Sammy he would give false information about the car being ready. We live in Los Angeles so the drive was not a short one. I went with my dad to pick up the car because Sammy told him the car was ready but when we got there it was a different story and he wanted my dad to give him $150.00 for a part because the car was leaking but that was something new it wasn't like that when my dad gave it to the driver. Okay I forgot to mention by this time Planet Engines has had the car for over a month just sitting there while my father has been renting cars. Even if it needed to take that long at least tell the customer so they can know how to plan their life, rent a car or what ever! I asked Sammy myself when would the car be ready and he told us by Tuesday or course it came and went with no car so we had to go rent another car.By this time we have racked up over $1200.00 in car rental fees because of poor service and lies that we were given by the manager/owner Sammy. My dad finally had enough went and picked up his car and it is still MISSING so he had to get off the freeway and tried to make home the best way he could with the car with the rebuilt engine that he paid for. My dad called back and one of the people told him to take the car somewhere else and get it fixed! My dad gave them almost $3000.00 and he is retired! Sammy and Planet Engines should not be in business selling lemonade let alone rebuilt engines!!! Prayerfully we can resolve this matter soon because my dad still has a rental!!! Planet Engines SUCK do not take your car there ever!!!
