Tried to get $375 fee, bad salesperson

I had a similar experience with Lee; I called to inquire about potential soundproofing work that I wanted to complete in my new house. I mentioned to him what I had in mind and also the root of the problem. I was interested in getting an estimate for the work, but he wanted a $375 fee, which
seemed on the steep side. He might be an expert in his field, but he's not a very good salesman - he was quite rude and arrogant on the phone; he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about when I explained what I had in mind in terms of the work.

When I call a services firm, I expect them to remember that I'm the customer and they need to respect that, otherwise they don't get my business. They also need to understand what the problem is (in my case, loud upstairs neighbors, thin shared walls) before they try to throw to their expertise at you.

Anyway, I opted to look for other acoustic contractors in my area and I found a company that worked for me.
