Stole my money

I was contacted by promodelusa and they guy " connar " seemed real nice and assured me that they are are totally into keeping my privacy and are there to help me to get a job. I listened to what he had to say and felt like I could trust him. He even gave me his "cell phone number" in which I contacted him on a couple times. I paid for the "sign-up, background check" and then all of a sudden I cant get a hold him him OR the numbers givin to me on the paperwork they sent me. I email them twice a day and for some odd reason they don't contact me anymore after giving them payment.

If there is anybody that knows what I can do about getting my money back, plz let me know.
