I puchased a Amana Dishwasher from Home Depot in Aug. 2009 within 90day's I had to have two service call's and two mayor parts replaced i.E. Wash Pump and Chopper Pump Seal. My one year warranty was up a year ago my dishwasher has not worked for the past six months, I called Home Depot they no longer carry the product and sd as the warranty was up I would have to pay for service call and parts. I called Amana and was told the same thing! They tried to get me to buy another 1yrs warranty for $89.00 but it would not go into affect for 90day's! I told them this was a defective product to no avail. My last Dishwasher last 15yrs and so has most people I know much to be said for G.E. Products. The lemon law requires four service calls before they will replace it!
I would never buy this product again. I feel I should be compensated.
