I was offered a credit card which had a one time activation fee of $89.00 which was not supposed to be debited from my checking account until 07/05 but it was presented for payment on o7/01 causing an overdraft, when I called about it I was then informed that the charge was non refundable plus there will be monthly charges of $19.95 of which I was not informed. I then informed the person that I am on a fixed income and there is no way I can accept that card. I was then informed that the application will be cancelled but I will not get my $89.00 back. This type of Scam needs to be addressed Legally. This company obtains people information from other sources then call with their misleading offers and incomplete information to get people signed up only to find out that they are thieves and boldface liars.
