Poor Service & Rude Manage

We arrived at the restsurant about 5:30 PM. We ordered drinks and when the drinks arrived we put in our food order. We noticed it was taking a long time and after about a half hour to 45 minutes. The waitress came back and asked if we wanted to order. We reminded her that we had already ordered and her response was oh, thats right.

When other customers who had arrived after us began receiving their orders we again inquired and she said our order was in the computer. We requested to speak with the manager because it was obvious the the waitress was not being honest. Felipe came to the table and was immediately very defensive. Pretty much said that we were lying about when we said we put in our order and if we did not want the order we could pay for our drinks and leave.

When we expressed our displeasure to the hostess she advised that we could speak to the head manager. Carlos came over to attempt to resolve the situation and was followed very closely by Felipe. My daughter attempted to explain that we were regular costomers in the restaurant. Felipe began to yell that we always complain and to yell over Carlos. When it was obvious that we were not going to deal with him he stormed off. Carlos apologized, stated that the waitress was new, and gave us a $10 gift coupon. I requested the number to the corporate office and was given their web site.

I understand that people make mistakes, but there is no excuse for the lying by the waitress or the rudeness of the manager. We have patronized this restaurant for over the past 5 years regularly and this is the first time we ever had a problem. If this is the response we can expect we will not return. Felipe obviously have some anger issues that need to be addressed if he is going to continue to work with the public ih the capacity of a manager.
