We received our new Golden Retriever, Ellie, this past Tuesday 8-16-11 and immediately fell in love with her. We had our vet examine her next day and learned she has an enlarged heart and lung disease. Her resting pulse is 150bpm, breathing 100 per minute. We have contacted PureBreeders and are awaiting their response. Of course, the kids have already fallen in love with her and don't want to see her go, even though our vet says she will likely never "grow out of it". I will post again after their response. Also, their staff runs from fantastic to bottom of the barrel.
