Miscellaneous

I received an unsolicited email in the summer of 2010 informing me of a way to make money with my computer from home by inputting information sent to me by Auction Listing Employment Agency for other companies who want to list on Ebay. After reading through the email very carefully, I continued the steps of membership, which included a $206.95 and $47.00 fee to a company called Job Finder. I was explicity informed that I would be given "all the leads" I could handle for $5.00 per input. I was sent a confirmation email, and a booklet in the mail with an assurance of the types of things (like a support staff, etc) that made this company seem perfectly legitimate. I am very familiar with ebay listings and auction listings. What made me pursue this opportunity was their claim that THEY would provide me with the leads and pay me $5.00 for each one I input, and that each one took about 15 minutes. Everything seemed very legitimate, including the website with a tutorial and a phone number that when I called it had a live person on the other end. I never took step two of making money! The website connects me to something unrelated to their promise, the phone numbers do not work and there is no reply about this matter when I send emails to support@auction-job-finder.com. The main thing I want to stress here though is what I was buying is not what I got. I can list auctions with my own products myself. What I bought was their claim they would give me company leads to input for $5.00 each.
