Till Slip

Saturday the 16th i bought 3 beef sosaties at the butchery department after i cooked them i tasted a piece to see if cooked through and it tasted aweful. After removing them from the cooker the smell was disgusting so i put them back in the orginal meat wrapper with the price tag and returned them sunday morning the 17th. The supervisor then asked me my till slip and said i dont have it she then replied she cant refund me my money, i think that is utter nonsense, that meat was rotten and she could see i bought it there so what is the problem. Fortunately when i grabbed a checkers plastic it was the one with the till slip.

My argument is if i never had it "so what checkers its my loss" and that is unacceptably. We seldom keep those slips and if the meat is rotten it is rotten whether i have my tlll slip or not surely the meat sticker with the price should have the date on. Checkers policy is no slip no refund but they quick to take our money its not like it was broken it was rotten i then told the supervisor she is lucky i found it or else i would have made her eat that rotten meat as i was not going to waste or lose my money i had paid for those sosaties.
