Someone called on the home phone saying that they could lower our interest rate on our credit card. Before we knew it we gave him our credit card number and expiration date and the fact that we didn't have any other credit cards. Feeling uneasy we immediately called our credit card bank/Chase. They informed us that there was no such deal, so we immediately cancelled our card. How did they get our information in the first place??? They knew our balance and all the digits of our Visa card except the last four digits which we gave him by MISTAKE.
