This was an ad on craigslist that I answered.

I was looking frr an apartment, found this one and call this person Brian.
He was located in Nigeria.

Thought it was kind of funny to own a building in Los Angeles. When I called him he said it was $800. Per month with a $400. Deposit.

I drove out to the address and found signs for rent in front. I call one number for the owner listed and left a message. I called Caldwell Bankers on another sign and they told me the apartment was $1895.00.

I knew this had to be a scam.
