Most job ads on craigslist are scams... I replied to an add for a data entry job, they said for Global Finance Company. We did an interview on yahoo messenger and they immediately gave me a job. They then wanted me to open an account at Chase Bank to wire me money for the purchase of software I needed in order to do the job... But there was no Chase Bank close to me so they said they would send me a check. Luckily I asked my banker to look into the check and so he put a week hold on it so they had plenty of time to discover it was fraudulent. But if they hadn't and I would have wired the money back to where ever they wanted me to wire it, I would have been responsible for they money once the bank discovered it was fake.
