Miscellaneous

While searching on craigslist for jobs I came across a secret shopper add. They provided me with a guide to keeping yourself anonymous while shopping and surveys to fill out. I was told to make a purchase at a Walmart in my area as well as a Western Union transaction and send in the survey. It was explained to me that there were complaints about Western Union handling large sums of money, exchange rates, as well as poor customer service. I was sent a money order, which I assumed to be real because it was from the USPD and completed the transaction. Everything up until that point seemed legit and business like. The next email was less than formal requesting another WU transaction and to pick a restaurant and fill out another survey. Being that they didn't have a specific restaurant picked out I became suspicious and upon arrival of the next money order I took it to my local post office where they told me it was fake. I'm still waiting for them to contact me, fortunately I grew suspicious before completing the transaction or I would owe my bank much more. There is most likely no solution to this that can be helped through this website, but I wanted to post and warn others of this scam that could cost them thousands.
