Miscellaneous

I received a call from some gentleman unsure of his name stating that I was selected to receive a $7000 dollar federal grant that I did not have to pay back. He did not ask me for my social security number he did say i could receive the check either in my bank account or by check. I choose a check. They said I would receive the money in two days by fed ex but I would be the only one they would give it to. I needed to show my ID to fed ex he then stated that someone was going to call me to confirm and I had to give then the grant code. I received a call from someone who sounded like they were from India name Pamela Stevens (Personal Info Removed). She verified and explained to me the process and then said it was a processing fee of $99.00 which I sent to them on 6/25. It was then stated the bank would call me and there was a security number I had to give them once they called. I finally received a call Linda James phone number (Personal Info Removed), who stated she was from the United Federal bank on 6/27 which said I now had to give them $350 if i wanted a check and $150 if I let the money go into my bank account and to call Pamela to speak with Mark Smith which is the Manager. I became uneasy about it and tried to call Pamela back but her voice mail was full.
