Sanyo Front Panel Fiasco - Sanyo T.V

I too have made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing a Sanyo DP46848 LCD TV. It appears that this model has had issues with their front panels going south. It started as an intermittent problem that I could not duplicate - so I waited until it got worse and I could take some digital pictures of the problem to show the serviceman. Now, the (primary) tv was removed from house on August 6th - it's now August 23. After repeated calls to the service folks, it turns out that Mr. Walmart and his "Warrantee Service" brigade have shown me how masters of the art of "follow the bouncing ball" professionals operate.

After a call to the Warrantee service on the 16th of August, they claimed that they couldn't find a replacement easily and that they think they located one and it will take 5 to 7 days to ship it. I think the searching was to locate the cheapest front panel they could locate in the free, and not so free world and that will appease the Gods. I don't know where this panel will be coming from but I hope it wasn't a Chinese tent sale... I don't have much faith, at this point that this is going to turn out well.
In summary - Mr. Walmart don't seem to give-a-hoot my TV is tied up, or how long it may take, or the quality of the parts that are used in the repairs... I will not consider an extended warrantee - I'll take my chances without one - just do my homework on the next purchase. Of course Sanyo it OUT!
Shame on you Mr. Walmart - and I thought you gave-a-hoot about your customers.* TV shopping at Mr. Walmart's stores for TV's will not be on my list of things to do. You blew it!
My little 37-inch (now primary) TV thanks you -too. Oh, did I mention that 1: It's not a Sanyo, but a Visio, and 2. I didn't purchase it at Mr. Walmarts'.
