Overcharging Unsuspecting Customers

I am starting a trucking business and had bought this trailer that had some malfunctions and when i took it to the shop they were happy to assist me get it going. They gave me a quote of around two thousand and assured me that it will pass DOT regulations and look like new as they would scrap all the rust and paint it too. I live close to the shop so i walked home and came back on my bike a little while later. I stayed at the shop the whole entire time and left @ 8pm. Early the next day i contacted the office and they said the trailer was done only DOT paperwork remained and had to be done by the guy who worked on the trailer on second shift. I was busy that day so i did not go to the shop and went the following morning to pay and pick my trailer. The guy was excited and assured me that the trailer looked new as all the work was complete. I had a run that morning so i just paid to go ahead with my day. When i got outside to the trailer i got the shock of my life as it was still rusted and was not painted. I am hot tempered so i just left and started calling around on what to do.

When i got back at noon the guy had already left so i just continued with my day. Unfortunately they are closed weekends so i had to wait for monday and when monday came they guy told me he could not do anything about it and they do not do body work thats why they did not paint it. I asked him for part of the money and he refused to give it back. I told him i was going to call the police so he told me to leave the property. I am still following this case in court.
