Military Discount

While checking out, my husband (retired from 24 yrs active duty military) inquired about military discount. The cashier checked with customer svc and was informed only active duty for the Memorial Day weekend. We have spent thousands of dollars over the years at Menards. When my husband stated that Lowe's offers 10% ALL the time to active duty and retired military, that info appeared to be unimportant to Menards. Upon leaving the store, I suggested to my husband that we NEVER visit Menards again and we close our account and shred the Card.
