MOVING NIGHTMARE - PODS Delivery & Service

Hi Everyone!

My Name is Jared Holland. I want you all to remember my name and my experience.

I moved last month from Vancouver to Calgary for work. I chose to use PODS because I thought what a great concept! Same price as renting a truck but door to door service. Just load my stuff up, have it shipped, have it waiting in Calgary when I arrive. Call them when I arrive, and then have the pod shipped to my new house and move my stuff in and its all done.

YA RIGHT! Pods was the worst NIGHTMARE ever. They pretty much did not follow through on anything they agreed to do and botched every part of the move.

First: they 'accidentally forgot' to transport my stuff from Vancouver to Calgary. So when I was ready to move in October 1st, my stuff was still in Vancouver. I pretty much camped for 14 days! Thanks guys!

Second: they wanted to charge me an extra fee for picking up the pod the same day after moving in.

I am so frustrated with this company. They made my move a nightmare and did not do anything for their screwing up. Going back three weeks, I would have just used a truck and spent the little bit extra to store my stuff. Run for your life with these people! They are a disaster.
