Levi's jeans - Levi 501 & 505

I have been a loyal customer for Levi's jeans for twenty years. They were, in my opinion, the best out there. Unfortunately for me and my shrinking wallet, the quality has gone down dramatically. 2 pair of jeans lost the riveted buttons and are now unwearable, a third pair, recently purchased, is already on it's way to the same fate. A number of other pairs have ripped consistently in the same place after less than moderate wear. I cannot afford to replace jeans that lose their buttons and rip after 3-4 months and very little use, it's unacceptable. Sadly, I may have to turn to other manufacturers if Levi-Strauss doesn't address their quality problem.
