I am a student. When I moved into my apartment I called to set up my account with PGW. They said I had to pay a deposit due to my credit. That's fine, I am a student. About two years later my gas is turned off. I call to ask why and the person said I do not have an account with pgw but I have been using the previous tenent's gas. So this happened on April 30th. I called to have them come turn the gas on. Two men came and told me they wouldn't go down in the basement because it was too dangerous without a light. It was 6:00 pm in late April, the sun didn't set until around 7:30 and the basement has windows that lets light in. I called my landlord and they fixed the lights. The two men never came back.

When I called to schedule again they told me they had no openings for a week. When the day came for them to come no one showed up. I called very angry and they arranged someone to come four days later. The woman who came was helpful but very frustrated with PGW because they put in a work order for the wrong thing. I had her speak with the service center and they assured me they would put in the correct work order but no one did. I was then scheduled for the next day, without anyone telling me. They never came. The next day I was scheduled for someone to come from 8-12, then 12-4, then 4-8. No one ever came. I am assured by people on the phone that someone will come but no one does and when they do they either leave or have the wrong information. This is the worst customer service I have ever had.
