Refusal to Refund Inferior Coffee Cup

We bought it and brought it home and it would not hold coffee hot so we bought another one thermos brand and paid more money for it and it holds coffee hot for 5 hours. We most likey could get Visa (how we paid for it) to just cancel the deal but that's not what we want as then what would we do with the inferior one all we want is for them to credit us for the amount of purchase. We do not have a reciept as there was none put in the bag (a starbucks).
