After requesting help (modification) they raised my mortage $800! Because they like for escrow accts. To be 2 months in the cushion!

Ocwen has to be the worst company to hold your mortgage! My mortgage was transferred to them after TB&W got into trouble with the government. Due to a cut back in work hours, late payments with the mortgage are constant. I thought this would be a perfect time to file for a Home Modification, before things got out of control.
Well! I contacted Ocwen, they emailed me the packet the next day and raised my mortgage payment $800 more 2 days later! Stating they (Ocwen) like for the escrow account to be 2 months in the cushion! BULL S*!!
Tell me how can I affored this when I'm having problems making the original payment?!!
Excuse me but, the last time I checked, home modification should help you lower your mortgage payment not raise it!!
