Monro muffler and brake
Worst Experience EVER

Miscellaneous

I would never reccommend this company to anyone. I brought my vehicle there to get my exhaust done. When they had called me to let me know the price they told me that I "needed" a tune up as well. I told them to do the repair and tune up. The manager called me later in the afternoon asking if he could keep it overnight, and i said yes. Got a call the following morning saying the car was all set and ready to go. My father had picked it up for me and they had told him after he had paid for the bill that my car needed another part and it was only running on 4 of the 6 cylinders and that 2 of the cylinders were misfiring and advising me that it was ok to drive until he could get the parts next week. After i had found out the issue, i called the manager back and told him this was completely unacceptable that he lied to me and told me the car was ready but failed to tell me that 2 of the cylinders were misfiring. Also the location is across the street from an auto parts store. After this whole conversation i called the corporate office which was even more of a nightmare than dealing with the store manager. I spoke to one woman who had no intention of helping me, asked for the supervisor and he was completely unprofessional. I work in customer service and i'm telling you that i would not have a job ESPECIALLY in the corporate office acting the way that man did. He basically told me i was wrong and that they would not help me in anyway even though now i will not have a drivable car for 3 days. This place is a complete mess. No one had respect for the customer and they overcharge you for the work that they don't do. I will never return to a Monro location or reccommend them to ANYONE i know. I think that the company needs to hire more supportive and understanding staff in the corporate office. We overpay car mechanics as it is and if it's not done right it's not ok. I thought that securing future business would be an importants key in all companies!
